The closest full-service massage studio to Zion National Park
ZionZen Massage & Skincare sits in La Verkin, Utah — the gateway town between Hurricane and Springdale, on Utah State Route 9 straight to the park's south entrance. Most guests reach us in 20–25 minutes from Springdale, 10 minutes from Hurricane, and 45–55 minutes from St. George. No shuttle transfers, no downtown traffic, free parking at the studio.
We're the only locally owned, full-service boutique massage & skincare studio between Zion and St. George with a private couples suite, ashiatsu bars, licensed therapists across ten modalities, and an exclusive Massage & Soak Hot Springs partnership with Zion Canyon Hot Springs — one of the oldest geothermal soaking sites in the American Southwest.
Guests who visit Zion book us for three main reasons: post-hike recovery after Angels Landing, the Narrows, or Observation Point; couples anniversary and honeymoon experiences in our private suite; and same-day resets when the trail was bigger than expected and tomorrow still has plans.

Couples & anniversaries
The Zion anniversary experience
Our private couples suite holds two licensed therapists, two heated tables, and an unhurried side-by-side ritual — the calmest way to celebrate an anniversary, honeymoon, or first trip to the Southwest together. Pairs naturally with the Massage & Soak package or dinner in Springdale.
Same-day & shuttle-friendly
Booking around the Zion shuttle schedule
Zion's shuttle runs early morning through evening in season. Guests who plan hikes for the cooler morning window and recovery for the afternoon consistently have the best experience with us. - Best window for couples half-day + soak: 11:30 AM – 3:00 PM. Massage, soak, dinner in Springdale.
- Rainy-day / trail-closed backup: Same-day availability shown live on the booking page.
From Zion visitors
What guests say after their Zion trip
“We hiked Angels Landing in the morning and were destroyed by 3pm. A 90-minute deep tissue at ZionZen the next day was the best thing we did on the whole trip.”
“The Massage & Soak package felt like a real spa day. Massage, then the hot springs, then dinner in Springdale — perfect anniversary.”
“I was skeptical there'd be anything this good near a national park. Booking was easy, therapist was excellent, and the studio was calm and clean.”
Frequently asked questions — massage near Zion
Where can I get a massage near Zion National Park?+
ZionZen Massage & Skincare in La Verkin, Utah is the closest full-service boutique massage studio to Zion National Park. We're about 20–25 minutes from the Springdale south entrance and 45–55 minutes from the east entrance, with real-time online booking and same-day availability when therapists are open.
What's the best massage after hiking Zion (Angels Landing, the Narrows, Observation Point)?+
Deep tissue or our Signature massage with focused work on calves, glutes, low back, and neck. For guests who hiked the Narrows in cold water, we often pair recovery bodywork with a soak at Zion Canyon Hot Springs to bring circulation back. Prenatal, ashiatsu, and Thai are also available if that fits your body better.
How far is ZionZen from Springdale and the park entrance?+
About 20–25 minutes by car from Springdale and the south (main) entrance of Zion National Park. The drive is Utah State Route 9 the entire way — scenic, no shuttle transfers, and free parking at our studio at 296 South State St. #101, La Verkin.
Can I book a same-day massage after my Zion hike?+
Often, yes. Availability is shown live on our booking page. Guests visiting Zion frequently book same-day recovery sessions in the late afternoon or early evening after they come off trail. Booking earlier in the day gives you the best choice of therapist and start time.
Do you offer couples massage for Zion getaways and anniversaries?+
Yes. Our private couples suite is one of the most-booked experiences for guests visiting Zion — two licensed therapists, two heated tables, unhurried side-by-side ritual. Many couples pair it with the Massage & Soak Hot Springs package for a full half-day together.
What is the Massage & Soak Hot Springs package?+
Our exclusive package combines a full massage at ZionZen with admission to Zion Canyon Hot Springs — a historic geothermal soaking site in La Verkin. It's the most-booked half-day spa experience for Zion visitors. See the Massage & Soak page for pricing and timing.
Should I book massage before or after visiting Zion?+
Most guests get more out of a post-hike recovery session — muscle work, hydration, hot springs soak, and a good night's sleep before flying home. If you're arriving stiff from a long drive or flight, a pre-hike Signature massage the evening before helps you feel loose on the trail the next morning.
Do you serve Zion visitors staying in Springdale, Rockville, or Hurricane?+
Yes — Springdale, Rockville, Virgin, La Verkin, Hurricane, and Kanab guests all book with us regularly. We also see St. George travelers coming through on Zion trips. See our city pages for drive times and city-specific FAQ.
