What this experience feels like
An Eminence Organic facial at ZionZen feels as much like bodywork as it does skincare. Long facial massage, warm towels, and quiet pacing carry you through.
The products are clean, organic, and customized to your skin — but the experience itself is what most guests come back for.
Best for
- Glow before a wedding, event, or photoshoot
- Sensitive skin and clean-beauty preferences
- Building a sustainable, gentle skincare rhythm
What guests often notice
- A calmer, more even complexion within a day or two
- Skin that feels softer and more hydrated for weeks
- A surprising sense of nervous-system calm — not just glow
- A clearer rhythm for at-home skincare moving forward
Individual experiences vary. Not a substitute for medical care.
Who should wait or check with us first
Eminence Organic Facial is safe for most guests, but a few situations call for a conversation — with us, or with your provider — before you book:
- Active cold sores, open lesions, sunburn, or recent chemical peels and laser work.
- Accutane use within the last six months.
- Known allergies to botanicals or essential oils — tell us and we'll patch-test or substitute.
- Fever or contagious illness.
If you're unsure whether massage is right for you today, call us before you book — our therapists would rather help you choose than have you sit through a session that isn't a fit.
What happens during the session
- Consultation
- Your esthetician assesses your skin and customizes the entire facial.
- Cleanse & exfoliate
- Layered, gentle, and tailored to your skin's needs that day.
- Mask & massage
- Long facial massage paired with treatment masks.
- Finish
- Serums, moisturizer, SPF — all clean, organic, and chosen for you.
Before & after your session
Small choices before and after your session make the work land deeper — here's what our therapists recommend.
Before you arrive
- Skip strong actives
- Pause retinol, glycolic, and other actives for 2–3 days before your appointment. Your esthetician will guide the rest.
- Come with a clean base
- No makeup is required — we'll cleanse thoroughly at the start. Come as you are.
- Share your goals
- Text or note what you'd like to work on. We'll customise every step.
After your session
- Give your skin a quiet day
- Avoid heavy makeup for the rest of the day so the treatment can keep working.
- SPF is non-negotiable
- Freshly exfoliated skin needs generous SPF for the next 3–4 days.
- Reintroduce actives slowly
- Wait 48 hours before restarting retinol or acids.
Deepen the session
Layer any of these into your session — chosen when you book.
Aromatherapy
Choose a therapeutic-grade blend — calming, grounding, or clarifying — layered gently through the session.
Scalp & neck focus
Extra time layered into the scalp, neck, and jaw — a favourite for screen-tension and headache-prone guests.
Zion Canyon Hot Springs soak
Most-booked pairing
Add admission to the historic mineral hot springs in Hurricane — soak before or after and turn your session into a slow half-day.

Serving the Greater Zion area
ZionZen is in La Verkin, Utah — about 25 minutes from the Zion National Park south entrance. Guests book eminence organic facial with us from across Washington County:
Southern Utah's high desert is brutal on skin: single-digit humidity, 5,000 feet of elevation, and relentless sun off red rock. Our treatments are chosen for desert dehydration and sun exposure, not for a coastal climate.
- Massage near Zion National Park
Our destination guide for park visitors — timing, drive routes, and post-hike recovery advice.
- Massage in La Verkin, Utah
Our home town. Locally owned studio minutes from Zion Canyon Hot Springs.
- Massage near Springdale
For guests staying at the park gate — the closest full-service studio outside Springdale.
- Massage in Hurricane, Utah
Ten minutes down SR-9 — a favorite of Sand Hollow and Hurricane locals.
- Massage near St. George
Forty minutes north on I-15 — worth the drive for Snow Canyon and Red Cliffs recovery.
