Introduction
About Couples Hot Springs
The pairing of a soak at Zion Canyon Hot Springs with a side-by-side couples massage is the most-booked celebration itinerary we offer — anniversaries, honeymoons, proposals, and quite a few "we survived the hike" evenings.
Here's exactly how the day is structured so you can plan around it.

What to expect
- The soak
- A private or shared soak in warm mineral water, typically 30 to 45 minutes. Bring swimwear, a hair tie, and sandals. You'll want water and a light snack rather than a full meal beforehand.
- The transition
- About 25 minutes down the road to our La Verkin studio, with free parking and no shuttle timing to work around. Come as you are — you'll change at the studio.
- Side-by-side massage
- Two therapists, one quiet room, two tables. You each choose your own pressure and style — one of you can have deep tissue while the other has relaxation work. The room stays dim and unhurried, and nobody talks over you.
- Afterward
- Most couples want food and quiet in that order. La Verkin and Hurricane are five to ten minutes away; Springdale is 25 minutes back east if you're staying at the park.
Cautions
When it may not be appropriate
- Hot soaking isn't recommended during pregnancy without provider approval — the couples massage on its own is a great substitute, with a prenatal setup on one side.
- Skip the soak with uncontrolled high blood pressure or a heart condition, and go straight to the studio.
From our team
Therapist recommendations
Book two to three weeks ahead for a Friday or Saturday evening in spring or fall. Two-therapist availability is the constraint, not room availability.
Tell us it's an occasion when you book. It changes nothing about the pressure and everything about the pacing.
Add an enhancement to one side only if you like — the sessions don't have to match.
Buying it as a surprise? A gift card for the package lets them pick the date.
